Hi All
I was diagnosed with type 2 over 15 years ago and am currently on Metformin and Glugazide. I tend towards health anxiety and have been suffering recently. I am regularly dizzy (fuzzy-headed) and my shins feel numb. I am aware of the possibility of neuropathy and worry a lot about that and its consequences. Check my blood sugar regularly and it seems pretty good but I really feel unwell. Doctor doesn't seem too concerned but I feel rough a lot of the time.

Hi @Paul Gibbins , if you are checking ur blood sugar regularly, what is ur blood sugar normallyi. Are. You following a low carb , healthy fat diet ..!

Hi Paul, welcome 🙂 I am sorry to hear you aren’t feeling so good right now, I guess it could be anxiety fuelled or it could be physical, is it worth going back to your diabetic nurse and talking it through? I find mine much easier to talk to than my GP 🙄

Hi Martin. My BS is averaging 6.5. I've just started a low carb regime. When I started my BS dropped down to 4.9 and I felt rotten. Thanks for replying.

Hi Paul, I dropped too low on low carb when I first started and felt lousy, too. BG lower than 5 leaves me feeling a bit shaky. Poor air quality, wheat/gluten intolerance, hayfever, raised BP are all things that can make me feel fuzzy headed - always best to get checked out.

Good luck.

Paul have you had your blood pressure checked?
