Thread with a new piece reviewing all the evidence against the CIM, with rejoinders from David Ludwig, the most credible proponent of it.

Despite Ludwig's efforts, the CIM is surely well & truly toast now, removing the main "scientific" support for all the low-carb articles of faith:

- "Carbs make you fat; calories don't matter"
- "Carbs make you hungry"
- "Carbs decrease energy"
- "Carbs cause diabetes"

Etc etc.

I know what works for me, simply by observation in the mirror, and the scales.
If it doesn't go in my mouth, it doesn't go on my stomach.
Fat has twice the calories of other foods, I avoid it when I can, it makes life easier in the long run.
(Then again, even lettuce has fat!)
