Hi, any chance you could go on insulin but have a district nurse administer and control it, I know a chap who has o/d on insulin and has this set up twice daily to control his BG's, social worker organised this for him via GP and suits him well.

Hope you get on top of that evil thrush! :(

Hi Jalipino,
My hubby is also type 2 and had what he thought was thrush for years.
After recently doing some research on the internet discovered that is more likely be something called Balanitis. It's very like thrush but not as easy to get rid of until you know how to.My hubby washes twice a day(morning and night)using aqueous cream and warm water and has been doing this for about a month and has had no problems since. He was getting problems ALL the time before. He noticed a big difference after a couple of days,he has carried on doing it to prevent it coming back.Let me know if you need any more advice and i'll ask my hubby!
Hope this helps🙂
