This time tomorrow, i will have got my very 1st Hbc results since diagnosis in may

also cholesterol and for my anemia, i have been very good and hoping for good result!!

i will be so upset if its not good news and they want to pump me with meds, but i know i will have to accept it,

i will be back tomorrow with my results, everything crossed please

I hope that your results are good 🙂 Be prepared to ask lots of questions if you're not sure what the results mean, and remember that this is a 'starting point' so stay positive even if they don't turn out to be what you hope for (but I hope they are, of course! 🙂)

I am sooooooo annoyed!!!, went to check in at the GPs, they couldnt find my name to see the nurse..."your down to see the Dr " she said!!
i dont want to see he Dr i said, i was made an appointment to see the nurse regarding my results,

"so do you want to keep your appointment for the GP? she said, not really but if nurse cant see me i have no choice,

next thing the nurse (not the nurse i was spose to see) called me in,

sorry but we need to take your bloods again!!!!!!!!! something went wrong with the last lot so it needs to be repeated!!!!!
i havent fasted i said!! its ok it will come back as random!!, but i didnt want bloody random!!
jeez give me strength,
so now i go back and see the nurse i am spose to see for my results,
best about it, i was having a massive anxiety attack on way there and whilst there!!!

Your surgery sounds nearly as good as mine. I ask for an appointment as late in the day as possible because I work in town and I work full time and the offer me an appointment at 10.20 am, and still keep offering me appointments in the middle of the day until I get cross with them and throw the phone at someone else to make the appointment.

How blooming madening! Did they apologise and give you a good reason as to why they hadn't let you know sooner that there was a problem with your results? Of course you were stressed. It's your first check up since diagnosis ans you care about your health and have been working hard to get your levels down.

I guess we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed a bit longer....whilst sticking pins in an effigy of your receptionist. 🙄 XXXXX

i am a little worried because the took blood this monring for my Hba, full blood count for my anemia, and also cholesterol, i did ask if it will make any difference because i hadn't fasted...she said not!!

my hubby wanted to complain to the practice manager, but because i was feeling very anxious i asked him to leave it, i will tell them on monday...
but i was thinking that they could have rung me letting me know the bloods had failed!!! didnt think that till i got home!!🙄

i just hope i get a correct reading because i havent fasted!!
(sigh)
