That is amazing. Look how things have changed in that time and how much more we know now.

Yes Alan - some of us do LOL (nosey, see?)

Wonderful lady. Think it's really the end of an era now, which I find rather sad in many ways. No more folk like her to tell the tale ....

And quite scary. Because it always brings home to me that we have had insulin for such a very short time in the overall scheme of things, which is a very sobering thought indeed.
