Another little experiment over the last couple of days, Tell me what you think.

07.00: Breakfast 2 x Bergen toast with butter
12.30: Lunch Small salad with a small tin of Tuna in springwater
16.30: 1 25g pack of Walkers baked cheese n onion crisps and a pint of German Wheat Beer

30 minutes pre beer and crisps 5.2
1 hour post beer and crisps 6.7

Tuesday
Exact repeat of above

30 minutes pre beer and crisps 5.4
1 hour post beer and crisps 6.6

Wednesday
Exact repeat of above

30 minutes pre beer and crisps 5.3
1 hour post beer and crisps 11.9 !!!!!!!!!!

I presume again my liver decided to dump a load of sugar into my system but why I suppose only it knows, Tested a couple of times just in case and got the 11.9, 11.5 and a 10.7

Dont think I will ever fully understand it all.

Unfortunately one can get different results even when doing the test at the same time if you use different fingers. (Others have told me this.) I think that is why the medics insist on the HbA1c test because it looks at the BG over a longer period. Good to read that you are getting there, well done. It isn't easy is it? Keep going and you will achieve what you want. 🙂 Hope you enjoyed the beer and crisps.
