When I joined here I was a bit surprised at the advice I got about lowering carbs to gain better control of BG levels, but I decided to give it a go and this morning I had the lowest BG level since I started self monitoring of 4.7 m.mol/l.
As an added bonus my weight is now starting to drop off, so thanks all again..!

Well done Martin...great work...great results.

It's quite daft, isn't it? Do the reverse of what your told by the 'experts' and BG levels lower & lose weight too! Bonkers!🙂

Awesome result, Martin..... So much for the experts, we actually live with D

I wish I could find a way to reduce my first reading of the day because it's always by far the highest.
I understand about the " dawn drop" but my morning readings are the same or even higher than the two hours after eating reading from the night before even though I have not eaten for twelve hours.
So frustrating 😳
