Had a bath this morning as a change from a shower. This was the only thing I did different this morning and after had a hypo at 2.8 within 20 mins after. Was wondering apart from the obvious like excercise, have others found doing something different have the same effect.

Hi Brett
Im same go for Bath and BG drops best thing if you high BG dropps me by a good few mmol

The hot water will open up your capilliaries so the insulin you have injected may start to absorb much more quickly. With a shower your flesh is less likely to receive such deep heating, so this may be why this is happening.

A hot bath always lowers my BG too.
