Had a letter yesterday to ask me to book a retinopathy appointment, so I have, for the middle of January. Wasn't expecting it this soon really, they having said I was OK to be left for 2 years now.

As far as I understand it, this is the way the eye screening is supposed to be starting up again to target those most in need first

 
Glad you’ve had your letter. I was told the high risk would be done first and anyone that hasn’t had problems before would skip a year. Consultant said he would add me to the high risk list but haven’t heard anything. Hopefully get my letter soon.
