Heartless thieves have snatched a lifesaving piece of equipment from a diabetic woman?s car.
Claire Hobbs, 26, was diagnosed with type one diabetes as a child and said she has been in and out of hospital ever since.
She also has retinopathy which is the damage to the retina in the eye caused by diabetes which can lead to blindness.
Ms Hobbs, from Ely, Cardiff, said she left her blood sugar testing machine in her car in Court Road, Grangetown, on Wednesday while she visited a friend between 3.45pm and 5pm.

Presumably some sort of Expert meter, but you'd think she would have been taught to carb count rather than having fixed doses? If not, a failure of her team it seems.
