Thieves steal diabetes kit in Northampton house burglary

Thieves stole a diabetes kit during a burlary at a house in Northampton.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the burglary in Monarch Road, Kingsthorpe Hollow.

It happened on Thursday, 5 June, between 2am and 5.30am.

The offenders broke in through the front door and stole various property, including two laptops, a handbag and a diabetes kit.

Thieves probably thought diabetes kit was a wallet - I'm assuming it was a blood glucose test kit.

Probably thought it was some sort of electronic gadget (well, of course - it is!) with a street/pub value.

He must have a spare cos if they were out he'd have had it with him .....

They are knob heads. Why steal all my husband's half bottles of aftershave on the dressing table? The full bottles of whisky they took (isn't Talisker and Jamieson's a price now?) I can understand, but half a bottle of Polo, Nivea Balm etc? Why?

And also complete plebs. There was a full bottle of Lanson Black Label champagne openly standing on the work surface in the kitchen - that was still there ......
