I found a simple app to help me track my bgs, meds, exercise etc., called OnTrack. It's a freebie I found on 1Mobile. What apps have you found and are they any good? OnTrack lets me store my bgs and HbAs in either mmol or % though I suppose I should start using % all the time as my meter shows both.

I thought all meters showed only either mmol/l or mg/dl (USA etc.)? HbA1c can be % or mmol/mol 🙂 What meter do you use?

See, I didn't know that. I've always used the Freestyle Freedom Lite I was given when dxd down in London. It's always been reliable so I never felt the need to try another one. I did gave an early adventure with a Bayer Contour but couldn't get on with it at all. All that nonsense with control solutions, bah!

Alison, I've been using OnTrack since I started testing a couple of month ago and find it a great app, so easy to enter the info and lots of options to view the results graphically or in tables. The only bug I've found with it is if you change the time zone of your device, record results in that time zone and then switch time zone again the time of the result changes (it must be stored in UTC and just displayed using your device offset) therefore depending on the time zone you're in results can shift between days and your daily averages can then become somewhat distorted. I have breakfast results showing up now at 11pm the previous day because they were recorded at 6am Singapore time.

I've let the developer know but not heard anything back yet :-(

I've been using OnTrack for nearly 18 months now (mentioned somewhere else on here)..... I find it really useful... and if you record your BG fairly often it comes out with a pretty accurate HbA1c.

eg....
15/4/11...... App said 6.5% actual was 6.7%
27/7/11...................6.3% ................6.5%
21/11/11 .................6.5%................6.6%
18/1/12 ...................6.5% ...............6.5%
18/6/12 ...................7.6% ...............7.6%

highly recommended from me :D

Downloaded this morning, will have a go.

Can't resist a new app!!!:D

I really like that one - I still record my stuff in an excel sheet, but I find it really useful to record my blood sugar, carbs etc when I'm out and about. 🙂

I also like the carbs and cals app (though I think I may have paid for that one), and I really like the myfitnesspal app for carb counting - I'm mainly using it to track what I eat, but the food database is excellent, and I find it really useful for looking up carbs when I'm out (and it's free!) 🙂

I still use Glucose Buddy. Been using it since diagnosis pretty much. Uploaded 11,020 logs so far :D I record my BGs, HbA1cs, insulin amounts and my carb intake. I use EasyDose as well for calculating my insulin amounts with my ever changing insulin:carb ratio. Very handy apps.

I use a pen and the Bayer record diary ( over half way through this one and it's already covered in blood marks:D)

Is EasyDose Android or Apple, can't seem to find it on either Google Play or the Apple Store.

I have used a spreadsheet since day one, but I've gone app mad since I've had the droid tablet and moby. I've not been carb counting but I may start, even though I don't have to match my isulin to my food... yet. I'll have a look at those two apps. Ta.

That actually looks really good. Great that it can be used with multiple meters. Can be used with these ones if anyone wants to know:

Interesting to see all the different meters alongside each other like that!
