Annoyingly, ALDI mix up their very similar big pots of natural yoghourt (excellent) with the low fat stuff (with odd taste and far from excellent) on the shelf with the result that I picked up a pot of low fat instead of the proper stuff the other day. Tried it with my granola and it was not nice.

What to do with this big pot of "yoghourt"?. Well, I was making some hummus this morning and to loosen it I added several tablespoonfuls of this concoction labelled low fat yoghourt and the result was quite pleasing. I finished up with a creamier hummus and the taste of the yoghourt blended in nicely with the tahini and chick peas. Disaster to winner.

When it comes to cooking, as I say, have a go, you might on occasion be pleasantly surprised.

Mix with Mayo for coleslaw.
They confused me a while ago as they changed the pot colour of the full fat one and I picked up low fat instead (vile)

Good idea @Leadinglights. Will be making coleslaw to morrow and I already have the mayo. I feel a trial coming on.

The colour change with the pots is really annoying but I guess they saved a few quid by ordering pots that were essentially identical except for the words "fat free" on the vile stuff.

Made same mistake as get my greek yogurt from Aldi.

Doesn't help matters that other customers pick things up but don't return them to right place.
