I saw that I needed to create an account and stopped right there.

Well, Mark, you did the same thing to be able to make that comment on here:D

True - but this is a forum, so I would expect to have to sign in.

Although, why have two different sign-in's on the same organisations website? (there's a few reasons, but other organisations I'm a member of have unified there logins)

I am sure I used the same login.

I've asked DUK to investigate the problem.
I'll cut them some slack - there are some web app's my company uses that still are not integrated into our single sign on system after several years. Apparently OAuth/OpenID is tricky.

Yes - sorry it’s a bit of a pain to have to login again, but we don’t currently have single sign on across Diabetes UK sites. We are looking at our options for single sign on but it is complicated.
We’d recommend to make it easiest that you use the same details for logging into the forum as you do for the Learning Zone.

I wouldn’t go to the expense of trying to get a single sign on, Hannah. Amazon certainly don’t if you want to, say, change your payment details. There isn’t a clamour for them to change.

Darn, to test it I had to say I am in Belfast 🙂
And that is bad I am careful about advices made by DUK in social media - but I don't trust anything fon Facebook and twitter as a rule of thumb.
