The Lancet Wants To Redefine Obesity

A report publishe by he Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology Journal wants to refine how we measure obesity and use body fat and other mesures rather than the current crude BMI scale. I will admit that I am slightly overweight but when I reach my target weight I will still be overweight by the current BMI definition but in the ideal weight range with the height adjusted version. In fact the basic BMI measurement is unkind to those over 5' 10" and flattering to those under 5' 3". There is more here:
