What on earth is going on with this weather huh it is far to warm , i have been racking my brains as to why my levels are once again up and down like a fiddlers elbow must be this weather i am fast running out of tap water LOLOL the rate im going i will bang, I try my best to dress for the weather but the thick hair dont help... has anybody any tips for me on how to deal with this weather?????? im sun creamed up to the eyeballs looks like a had a snail crawl all over my body and left a shiny glow grr
 
I know steff I cant bear it myself, especially in the night!

ok if you are on hol and nothing to do but lounge around all day, he he. sound really miserable dont i?

Off today so not too bad, but when im working is terrible, hot n sticky, worse thing is have to wear uniform, which incorporates a coat!!😱 as my sugars swing really high, 20s not unusually feel hot and sweaty anyway!! Not allowed to take off, but to be honest its been off and on like a yo yo, ridiculous. anyway will stop whinging now!:D
 
yeah work is tragic for me hun i work in a kitchen i got to leave sometimes and go back god it is horrd , on monday the cooler system broke down i was so pleased i was off

ok so just got hypo 3.8, MUST be down to heat i reckon, was 20 earlier today!!


good thing is though been dying to try the jelly baby treatment! alway used dextrose before, yummy, had five, was very difficult to stop there though 🙂

I follow up with slow carb so that I dont go low again, as fast acting brings you up quickly but you can come down again without slow release. I had a digestive and an apple so probably overcompensated as wasnt that low, but you feel like you need to eat a horse! I did enjoy them though, they brought me up really quickly too.

my o/h loves them but hates the green ones 🙂 i was more a jelly bean gal actually :D:D
 
yup it sure is and i cant have bare legs so if it aint trousers its tights thats a killer gr

Hi Steff. Can you not wear knee high tights or hold ups. I found them to be ok as I also worked in a kitchen, nobody knew what I was wearing ( as I was head chef who was going to tell me off ha ha ha ha.

aww brill my sisters is 3 weeks well nearly she is soo gorge they change so much in the first few weeks
 
Steff I have thick hair too as does wife, I'm an avid sun hat wearer, yes it gets a bit damp! but it does keep the head cooler, taking the sun off the hair, give it a go? You may not be a hat person but I think it's worth it when the sun is direct.
Or shave your head and sleep all day in an ice bath and get night work! Not very practical me thinks!
