Stretchers, dentures and patients’ cash are among thousands of items stolen or missing from hospitals across Greater Manchester, the M.E.N. can reveal.
As well as vital hospital kit, callous crooks have stolen tens of thousands of pounds in cash from patients over the past four years.
Some were recovering from operations when thieves rifled through their belongings and snatched valuables.
As well as money, the bizarre range of stolen items include recliner chairs, a stretcher and dentures worth £3,000, which were taken from The Christie.
