Hi @Biljon and welcome to the forum.

Can you tell us a little about how you came to be diagnosed and off they are any specific questions you’ve got?

Be assured we are quite a friendly bunch and we’ve got a wealth of experience to share. There’s no such thing as a stupid question either so pull up a chair and make yourself comfortable, I’ll put the kettle on and let’s have a chat 🙂

Hi and welcome.

Can you tell us a bit about how your diagnosis came about and information about what your diagnostic reading (HbA1c) was.... usually a number of 48 or higher but can be into 3 figures if things have gone seriously awry.... and any medication you have been prescribed for it. Do you have much/any weight to lose and how active you are? These things will all impact the advice we give you.

Welcome to the forum @Biljon.

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Did it come out of the blue, or has it been building up for some time? Do you have diabetes in your family?

Ask away with any questions you have, nothing will be considered too obvious or ‘silly’ 🙂

Hi, everything will be fine, follow the advice and rules of the doctor
