At risk of diabetes
I got my blood test results today and I am no longer pre-diabetic. I followed Prof’ Roy Taylor’s recommendation and lost 33lbs. I didn’t use the shakes diet but kept to <100 carbs and 1000 cals a day for 4 months. I took daily blood glucose tests and kept a food diary which helped a lot with the discipline. My thanks go to those on the forum who shared their knowledge and advice, and to Diabetes UK for the great facility of this site. I wish you all well and a merry Christmas.

That’s great news!!!

It is so good to hear when something like this works out. Well done. Encouragement for others. It also helps others see the strategy of diet, exercise, weight loss, effort, determination, recording everything, etc.

Many Congratulations and good luck maintaining the weight loss and normal HbA1c levels.
Thanks so much for coming here and reporting your success, as that helps to motivate and inspire others.

Yes indeed well done. A good start to the weekend.

Well done
