Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi All
I just wanted to post an update and say thank you, I was diagnosed a couple of weeks ago now, and just wanted to thank you all for your help.
I have now had an appointment with my practice nurse who is going to be helping me look after this within her diabetic clinic, which went well and was helpful. I have also had my eye appointment which was all ay ok.
I also have MS and struggle to prepare food and am somewhat reliant on ready meals so am going to find it hard to go very low carb. However I have cut out sugar and reduced carb portions where possible, switched to low carb bread etc.
I feel I am losing weight as my clothes are loose and I can see it in my face, even though it ddnt show on the scales at the nurse appt(it was only a week after the GP weighed me tho so I am trying hard not to be discouraged). Anyway feeling tons more positive that I was so thank you so much.
