Wow .. I would just like to say thank you for messages after my first post about feeling very low and quite lost with new diagnosis ... I am seriously feeling better already just from kind words ... It's made me realise that I am not alone and I will smash this as best as I can ... Slowly slowly .... A big fat thanks to everyone .. means a lot to know others are there to help 🙂

Good to hear you've found the forum helpful 🙂

It is often said on here that trying to get to grips with this is a marathon and not a sprint...so true...you will get there 🙂
Also, ask your dsn about going on a carb counting course (traditionally known as DAFNE) that and switching to MDI will make your life much easier 🙂

Hope the appointment goes well Kezza 🙂 I agree - definitely ask about carb counting and MDI, it will give you much greater flexibility and control 🙂 If they resist, ask for a very good reason why!

Good luck with your appointment, let us know how you get on x

I am glad that you have found the forum helpful.
Let us know how you get on tomorrow.
