been to see my DSN spent around 30 minutes with her. I went In armed with all the knowledge I’ve gained from the amazing people on here. A list of questions. It couldn’t have gone better she’s gone through everything and told me she can’t believe how well I’m doing my BGL is perfect. She explained why I had been put on insulin straight away my habc1was 19.2 on diagnoses cholesterol 7.5. But I have that good control i’m Been hopefully taken off insulin soon. Wants me to stay on it until my next blood test which she’s booked in for 10 weeks from my first 29th June. She can’t see why I’ll need to continue on insulin. Referred me for my eye test just need to wait for my appointment. Lucky my DSN is nice and helpful. Doesn’t want my to do a strict LCHF because of my heart LC is fine and some fat but moderate how much fat(I can work with that). Because of what I’ve learned from the forum she said I sound like someone who’s 20 years in not 3 weeks. I owe you so much gratitude for all the support and help over the last couple of weeks. Thank you( doesn’t come close)

Great to hear you had a very successful appointment, been waiting on you to update us if I'm honest! lol, fab news and keep it up 🙂 xx

Always good to read a successful appointment! 🙂 Keep up the good work and don't take your eye off the ball 🙂

Fantastic stuff! Congratulations on the progress and effort you have made so far 🙂

Great news, congratulations on both a good appointment & progress....

Excellent news! The term LCHF is a bit of a misnomer really, as it doesn't really mean high fat, just normal or moderate fat. It's a balancing act really.

Good stuff Spirelite 😎. Keep at it 😉

On LCHF my cholesterol went down - on the heavy carb diet intended to do that very thing, they will not admit to anything - though I love to see their faces at the clinic when they take my blood pressure - sometimes the nurse goes out to get another machine because hers must be faulty.......

She took my BP it's 138/94 she said its perfect if a didn't have diabetes wants it around.140/80 I'm on 2.5g ramipril said I might need to increase dose soon to help.

Sheesh - perfect blood pressure but take more medication?
If you become a symptomless diabetic with normal blood glucose she is going to be so disappointed.
