I now realise that Easter is my stumbling bkock or rather those fantastic chocolate eggs. Boy did I have a feast. Now back on that wagom

I find Xmas harder. I did manage to make my Lindt extra dark chocolate Easter egg last 3 days.

Unfortunately, no one bought me an Easter egg so the temptation didn't arise... :(
.

I feel your pain! I agree about Easter and the temptation to over indulge. I was given three eggs which I haven’t started yet miraculously. I did however succumb to a delicious simnal cake, not to mention numerous Malteser bunnies etc!!

I have a huge Lindt egg with a bunny inside i keep looking at it LOL also a white chocolate Milky bar egg, i am lucky hat i seam to be able to eat chocolate with any problems.

I just ignored easter, also glad it over tho cos the plumber actually came around yesterday afternoon 🙂 (he was minding grandkids over easter). Still no heating or hot water tho as a part needs ordering.

I also can eat chocolate and with a fingerprick test it's ok, but Hba1c is slightly different and all my sins are revealed. Ahhh

I wish Ihad some of your self control. There is something about an an Easter egg... just can't stop myself

Oh that wouldn't stop me. I simply buy my own

Sadly I think it’s more ‘guilt’ than self-control! Also the amount of simnal cake consumed! Add to that an appointment with my GP in a couple of weeks and I’m sure you get the picture!

I got two milk chocolate bunnies this year, one from the company I work for and one from a customer. There's still a bit left from the Lindt one...but not much.

I can do without chocolate all year round, but the minute those choclate Easter eggs appear, there is no stopping me!!!

I am lucky in that I have no children or grandchildren so don't really need to buy them. Also we have so many chocolates and biscuits from Christmas we didn't really want to add to them.

I am one of those lucky people who, since going lower carb, does not crave sweet things any more. My hubby has them as he has no problems with his blood sugars and it would be unfair to stop him having treats.

I do treat myself from time to time though.
