are there any tests at home that one can do to keep a check on neuropathy? i get tested like most of us when i go for my diabetic review every 6 months by the Nurse with a tuning fork but wondered what we can do at home that does the same job?

I'm not aware of anything carina. Some of the sensitivity tests would be difficult to do yourself I think, since you can't tickle your own feet! I think you need to be guided more by being aware of any numbness or sharp pain, particularly in your toes. I was also told that if you have hairy calves and feet then it means you have good circulation, but I won't be so personal as to ask your own particular 'hobbit' status! 😉

My wife says I've got Hobbit feet, now I can tell her that's a good thing 😛
