Just tried the link on my iPad, it worked fine. What device are you using? Sometimes that makes a difference.
Also found the page direct on the Diabetes UK website, in case that works for you. Click on How we help on the top line, a drop down box appears, click on Advocacy, and there's a list of PDF packs on the right hand side of the page, including the blood testing one.

I know absolutely nothing either, I just know sometimes things will work on a laptop or an iPad, and not on a phone, or vice versa. I think I added an edit to my post above on how to find the page direct on Diabetes UK website after you'd read it. Try that, and if it still doesn't work, all I can suggest is contacting Diabetes UK to tell them the link isn't working for you.

and then the link to the Advocacy pack on the right-hand side of the screen? If you have a problem with that, it may be because the link is to a pdf document, and you might need to install a pdf reader on your device.

The original link works fine on my laptop (Windows 7 Professional, opens directly in Adobe PDF Reader) and on my tablet (Android 4.4, downloads the file then asks which app I want to use to open it; Drive PDF Reader does the job).

This is really, really useful. I think that we all know that a lot of PCT's are issuing instructions that they want our testing regimes controlled on a purely financial basis. This gives anybody who is at the thick end of this policy at least something on which to begin to build a case and fight it. We all know that monitoring is essential to afford us all the best possibility of a decent long term outcome. To reduce this testing to save money seems ludicrous as if we all stopped testing from this point forward and just ignored our condition completely then the cost of long term complications alone, physical to us and financial to the NHS should put Mr Hunt's merry band in the funny farm
