Need some clarification. I'm aware that everyone does it different and for different reasons but does one test before you eat and count 2hrs on before testing again or count 2hrs from when you finish eating then test?.The latter has potential issues in that you may be interrupted so may not finish eating straight away also you have to take the scanning every 8hrs into account presumably.
FYI as a general rule I scan when I get up then have breakfast. I try and scan 2hrs later but sometimes it is later if I am busy at work I lose track.
Being Type 2 not on insulin or medication that might cause a hypo it's not a life or death issue for me as I am not testing to see what foods affect my bg and how, more just to keep an eye on them. If TIR is above 70% or higher I am doing something right hence. Just want to know if it matters whether you test before food or 2hrs post food.
