As it's Friday night, thought I'd have a treat. Got tescos own 85% ecudorian chocolate. Only 4.4g carbs and 3.9g fibre per 2 squares. I only had 2 squares. Honest.

Really? Only two squares? Sounds good though, I'll try some.

It's strong stuff. 2 squares is plenty.

Snap! Bought some myself today! 🙂 Cheap too, at £1.05 for 100g. Two squares is enough, if you nibble and let it melt 🙂

You were ripped off! I only paid £1 :D

Lindt 90% more expensive but only 14g per 100g bar. Almost guilt free!

I try and break off less than a square but whatever size, it goes on my tongue where I let it gradually dissolve. The high cocoa solids stuff take ages to melt, and I enjoy it for a very long time, so then I don't stuff myself with it.

I'll have a look for one of them, or both LOL

Asda's extra special 80% is lovely and a small bar is 7g of carb, they often do an offer of three for a pound...yum! I love a bit of dark chocolate. Ooh and Aldi do small bars of dark chocolate and sea salt, really lovely but inexplicably are 13g of carb which is quite high for a dark chocolate bar of that size 🙄

Saw that but decided on the Tesco one as it was cheaper. I will try it though.

Oooh, I love that. I started on an 85% habit, but I've progressed to the 90%. Not sure I'll be going any further, though 99 and even 100% does exist!

Bought some of this today, after working my way up from 70% 🙂 Lovely and like you say - practically carb free at 1.4g per piece! 😱 🙂
You know it makes sense. A square goes very nicely with my afternoon coffee

2 squares is a serving. I have to obey the rules.😉

My tastes have changed as I've got older. In my younger days I wouldn't go anywhere near dark chocolate and coffee always had to have milk in. Now I love the taste of dark chocolate and an espresso. Does that mean I've become more bitter as I've got older? Nah, just a more sophisticated palate. :D

Nah, you were right first time.😛
