It?s another ?Blue Monday? ? just two weeks after the last one. But while most will shrug their shoulders and laugh it off as another gimmick, mental health charities are concerned Monday blues are something to be recognised as serious symptoms of Season Affective Disorder (SAD), a type of depression believed to be linked to the absence of light during the winter months.

Mental Health UK has issued a warning after a poll found 3 in 10 adults rise before sunrise during the winter months and return home from work after sunset.

However, here are our top 10 tips for beating the winter blues this month and staying positive in the cold and dark.
