A CRANLEIGH teenager will be joining other Type 1 diabetes sufferers to lobby Parliament later this month in a bid to obtain more government cash to fight the condition.

Louisa Povey, 19, has been chosen to attend the lobby on April 25 as a representative of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

?We are desperately trying to raise awareness of this condition in an attempt to increase government funding for vital medical research into improving treatments or finding a cure for this life-threatening condition,? she said.
