Does anyone use this meter. I find it constantly reads higher then my Bayer Contour meter. Obviously I prefer the reading from the Bayer but how do I know which figure is right?

Some meters do show a variation to other makes - my Contour shows about 1 mmol/l higher than my Freestyle Optium. I think, however, that they both conform to the 10% plus or minus value for accuracy, it's just that one tends to read on the lower end of the range and the other on the upper end, so technically they are both correct! I tend to 'believe' the one I use most regularly, but if I do have occasion to test on two meters, then I'll estimate that it's somewhere between the two! 🙂

The old chestnut - which meter is correct. It's just like the speedo on a car unless you get it calibrated none of them are correct. Please look up ISO 15197:2013 which all meters are supposed to comply with and all have a tolerance range, stick with one meter and don't compare meters.
