An annual tea party in Ballater has raised ?565 for diabetes research.
Organiser Cat Houston, said: ?This is the sixth year we have run Lizzie?s Tea Party for diabetes and we had the usual tea marquee, a bouncy castle, face and nail painting and a quiz this time.
Monies are raised entirely by donation. Guests give what they can to the pot and everything available in the garden is then free.
This year we chose the Insulin Dependent Diabetes Trust (IDDT), which funds projects in developing countries to ensure children diagnosed with Type 1 get access to insulin, to benefit from the proceeds.
