Hi guys,
Have just bought myself a accu-check meter and would really appreciate some advice on testing. When; what I should be looking for etc....

Thank you.
Amanda 🙂

Hi Amanda , im a type 1 on a pump so my testing would be different to yours 🙂 im sure a type 2 will be along very soon with advice :D

Great news Amanda!

Jennifer's Advice makes a lot of sense to me in terms of a test-review-adjust approach.

Quite strip-heavy in the early days, but once you have a basic idea of how you respond to different foods you can drop back to 'maintenance' level.

Important not to expect oo much change too quickly, and not to get disheartened if you see lots of results higher than you'd like. It is *much* better for your body/fine blood vessels etc if you reduce your levels gradually over a few weeks/months.
