I have Crohn's. Was diagnosed 10 years ago (aged 35). Been on Vedolizumab for 3 years and got the Crohn's well under control.
They don't know what type diabetes I am. Was diagnosed a year ago. They said I was type 2, but I do not fit the typical type 2 profile. Just returned 2 positive antibody results. So, they are saying it is more than likely type 1. But I have managed to bring hba1c right down, without any meds. It is fair to say that they are a little bemused at my condition.
