Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to say hi!

I've never posted here before, no idea why though! I was diagnosed at 13 months old and celebrated 35 years earlier this year. I have two young children, a dog who smells a hypo and have recently been using a libre and pump to manage my control.

I'm hoping to hop on an ominpod at the end of this year...

So really just saying hi 🙂

Hi @Jazzyted, and welcome to the forum. It's a really great place! I've only been a member for a short time but have learned so much about diabetes since I joined. You clearly have your T1 under control, but even if you don't need advice, it's a lovely friendly forum with lots of interesting threads x

Hello and welcome! I have an Omnipod and there are a few of us on here. My dog only smells dinner unfortunately!

Hello and welcome to the forum 🙂
My dog smells of fox P as did a roll this morning, but yes despite her disgusting habit she can detect a hypo as well. :D

Welcome to the forum @Jazzyted

Glad you have joined us 🙂

Well done on your 35 years! Looks like you are gearing-up for the next 35.

Hope the pod works out well for you - those new handsets look very slinky, and there's that ever-present-rumour-fest about a Libre linkup too!

Hello, youth!

I've never imagined I could ever get on with an Omnipod bearing in mind I am a person who has managed to forcibly rip a Libre sensor off whilst casually going into the bathroom in our motorhome one day, and far too occupied with making it to the pedestal before I had an accident, to worry about things like doorframes .... bearing in mind that state of mind is par for the course chez moi. TMI I know but at least I'm truthful! 😉
