I have several of the common symptoms of 2 diabetes, but I have recently tested negative.
Some of the symptoms are worrying e.g. blurred vision, numbness in hands and feet, wounds not healing properly.
What do I do next?

Hi barlot, welcome to the forum 🙂 What tests have been performed, and what were the results? What did the doctors/nurses say in response to the results - have they offered you any treatment or advice? It's possible to have symptoms and not pass the criteria for a diagnosis - you may have a glucose intolerance (sometimes called 'pre-diabetes'). I would suggest that you begin to think like someone who has been diagnosed. The general advice for someone who has diabetes is to eat healthily and get active - exactly the same advice as for someone without diabetes, so you can only benefit from acting this way 🙂 There are some differences - you need to be careful not to consume too much carbohydrate, and also to carefully consider the carbs you do eat - The GL Diet for Dummies is a useful guide to selecting the right balance of food to help keep your blood sugar levels steady.

Hope this helps a little 🙂

You could also buy yourself a blood glucose meter and check your blood sugars before and after meals? see what your sugars are doing....or....buy some diastrips as they also will tell you if you have had sugar in your blood and what level...when you say it came back negative do you meen your hba1c?
