Does anbody else use sweetex ? 🙄 Can people think of low carb/cal stuff not cakes & sweet things Because its bad for OUR health

My first husband used to have em in tea and coffee when he was on a diet in 1972.

I just completely gave up sweetened hot drinks shortly thereafter when I received the unwanted gift of D.

When you bake for a family, it's hard to give up cakes and puddings and as long as they only have a reasonable portion within a balanced diet - why shouldn't they eat it? They mostly aren't diabetic. Didn't you have hollow legs as a young lad? So if you cut down the carbs and cals by using low calorie/low carb sweeteners and substitute ground almonds for wheat flour in some recipes, then occasionally the D person can have a bit too without disastrous consequences - especially if they aren't overweight in the first place!

Hi Trophywench, It just seems every time i look at Resipes page someone is posting something about "CAKES" I totaly agree with a well balenced diet ? 🙂
