A Swedish man found dead in Jersey had died from a fatal amount of sugar in his blood, related to his diabetes.

An inquest heard Gustaf Karl Tomas Floven, 29, had travelled to the island on 31 March after he had lost his job in Guernsey.

His body was found four days later in the Old Quarry in Trinity.

The inquest found Mr Floven had type one diabetes which depended on insulin and he had died after his blood sugar levels had become too high.
