the DVLA have just suspended my hgv for 3 months. Reason being I don’t have proof . That I haven’t had a hypo in the last 3 months
I am using a acu-Chek .but I have only just been diagnosed (a week ago).i am on temporary insulin for 3 months . Then hopefully going onto oral medication
I could lose my job here
I work for a small outfit with only my self and one other driver.i only drive for a hour in morning and a hour at tea time. The rest of of the time is working on site .
Can I appeal or will it fall on deaf ears .?

As you are a type two, are you sure you actually require insulin - it is normal for a type two to have too much insulin rather than too little - have you been tested and found to have a reduced output?
Perhaps if you go back to your doctor and explain how dire the use of insulin is, you might get a change of medication.
Many type twos can return to normal numbers by changing their diet and require no medication.
