The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) wants your feedback on your experiences with medical devices and products to make them more inclusive and better suited to patient needs.

National Voices has been asked by the Department of Health and Social Care to deliver an insight project to find out what is important to patients when deciding which medical devices to use, and to find out what information patients want to enable them to exercise choice over the medical device they use.

If you have any questions, please email Louis Horsley, Research and Insight Manager at National Voices. Louis is managing the project and can be reached via: louis.horsley@nationalvoices.org.uk

You can access the survey here:

The survey limits your ability to answer and all of a sudden I found myself back nearly at the beginning, at which point I gave up.

It seemed to suggest you needed to be prescribed, I self fund so I did not continue.

Not the clearest start to the survey (especially Question 7) but having decided to use the "other" option I think i was able to say all i needed to on CGM's and Pumps.

The survey would benefit from a few more responders.....

It is a bit confusing to begin with and would be better if you could tick all that apply instead of choosing one and not knowing that the others would follow as you complete but other than that it was quite painless.

Done.
It repeated the survey for each device separately, and the free text allowed explanations of exactly what I was using. I don’t envy the person collating the responses!!!

Giving this a bump up - the survey closes on 10th January. 🙂
