I thought i'd google how much my insulin costs, in bored/procrastinating.

I got ?29.45 from a post on another forum, but do we know the costs of it now days? Where could I find all this info, i'm intrigued to know!
 
I know a pack of 5 Novorapid 3ml cartridges is about ?18 trade. I think my Lantus Solostar pens were a little more expensive than that. Looked it up at work one day (pharmacy) because I was bored 🙄
 
You can get it from the British National Formulary website: bnf.org, you will have to register but it's free. Gives drug interactions and costs to the NHS. Very useful resource.

This is very interesting!!

Every time I have to go get something (Needles/Test strips.. anything) I always think that the only good thing about Diabetes is you get free prescriptions!! I wouldn't be here if I had to pay for all of it everytime!!

P.S I was also wrong another good is talking to you people!! =P
 
If it's of any interest, the BNF Drug Tariff is updated twice a year - middle of Sept and middle of March - so to be absolutely certain what the NHS would pay, check at some time shortly thereafter those dates.

But it's a ballpark figure for you, anyway.
