Hi All
At the risk of answering my own question.
I am a new diagnosed Type 2 and over the last two weeks been looking to find those foods which suit my own situation, regularity, quantities etc, etc. the first week was really difficult with Tests up at 9.0 and down to in the 8's. Over the last couple of days after some advise about measuring on completing a meal, +1 and +2 hours on basic food types I am having some success sorting best meal times, medication etc.
Yesterday I was hitting low 6.0's +2 hrs and today I have been mid 5.0's to Mid 6.0's
However at lunch I was at 5.5 immediately after food. +1 at 8.3. I walked the mile and three quarters home from my meeting at a brisk pace. Checking +2hrs the test is right down at 4.1!
Should I assume that I am now in a slow carb deficit for the swing to be as great?
