A young diabetes sufferer from Hairmyres is holding a fundraiser this Friday to raise cash for the charity which has helped him deal with his condition.
Twenty-year-old David Belshaw from Hairmyres is holding the ?Sugar Crush? fun night from 8pm till 1am, in Club AXM in Glasgow, with the help of friend Lisa Bell.
He plans to raise as much cash as he can for Diabetes UK and he is hoping as many local folk as possible will go along and show their support.
Former Hunter Primary, Hunter High and later Calderglen High School pupil David was diagnosed with diabetes when he was just three years old.
