Okay, so I was a bit naughty this morning and had a bowl of porridge (which always makes me spike a bit) but am trying to give up smoking again so excused myself.

So, two hours after porridge I was up to 12.3, now I test two hours later and I'm at 3.1. I re-tested as thought that was a bit low and it then came back as 2.9.

I should have stuck to my normal bacon and eggs breakfast as I'll now be up and down for the rest of the day 😡

I hope things sort themselves out for you. Porridge seems to affect people in different ways.

Many thanks Caroline. A couple of Belvita biscuits and I'm on the way back up!!

It's mad, isn't it?

It's either half a bowl of porridge or bin the packet and stick to the bacon & eggs.
