Close to 80 million Americans have pre-diabetes. Their blood sugar levels are abnormal, but they don?t have type two diabetes yet. A study being done in the metro will see if a common vitamin can help prevent it.
Bill Prugh knows he need to take steps to avoid type two diabetes. He has pre-diabetes. About half the people with it develop diabetes within five years.
