Better diabetes education could lead to improved self-management and psychological wellbeing, a study has found.
Presented today at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes, the results show that more than a quarter (26%) of people in the UK have never attended a diabetes education programme.
But 80% of people who have participated in such a programme found it valuable.
