Hi there. Struggling with insulin. On Lantus 6 units in the morning. Ratio 1:15 g carbs for Novorapid. Carb counting and taking Novorapid 15 mins before eating. Have had 3 hypos today and same yesterday. Take jelly babies to correct then fast spike to 13-14. Wondering if you have any advice . Is it low GI foods. Thought it was wonky sensor but fingerprick results v similar today. Am LADA by the way. Hoping you can help as feeling drained. Go on holiday tomorrow and afraid to inject/eat.

Firstly to avoid the highs they say avoid the hypos. So don’t worry about the highs.

If you ratio is definitely 1:15 then your background lantus might need changing.

Can you go low carb for a meal or 2 and test out the background?

Hope you had a better day yesterday
