Hi everyone

I'm new to the forum but not new to diabetes!

I was diagnosed nearly 2 years ago and had a HbA1c of around 80. I have only just had my second blood test (long story, ended up changing Dr's Surgery because of it) and I am awaiting my appointment with the nurse. I spoke to the receptionist at the surgery and she told me the HbA1c result was 80 again. This is after 2 years of taking Metformin but if I'm honest I haven't been good at looking after myself.

I am determined to make a change this time though and I am looking forward to getting started.
