Relationship to Diabetes

Hello, I've had Type 1 Diabetes for over 40 years and have joined Diabetes UK for a few reasons

First, my older brother recently passed away and he also suffered from Type 1
Second, I've found his very old copy of 'The Diabetic's Handbook', published circa 1974 which looks 'interesting'.
Third, I've self-published 2 semi-autobiographical books about life growing up in the 1960s but I don't want to mention them or use this forum to create sales. However, I began writing a sequel a few months ago and included one of the existing characters developing Type1, aged 15.
Fourth, I thought I should join.

Welcome to the forum. Interesting choice of name, I hope you’re not anticipating being assassinated for your writing?

And Welcome to the Forum also from me, @Marcus Tullius Cicero. I suspect amongst the membership here are some ideas for characters for that fourth book that you haven't yet started!

Welcome Marcis. you must by now be an expert
