Well it might not be a strange question, but sounds strange in my head!!!

I've just order 2 more sensors ready for going away to Disneyland in just under 2 weeks time. They should have been delivered last Friday which would have been perfect for what I wanted, but as no-one was home they got delivered yesterday.
Originally I was planning on using one on the 2 week lead up to Disney as I am doing a 25km walk on Saturday then putting on a new on before I go Disney. But as they were delayed that wont work.
So....... what I was wondering is this - Ive attached a sensor last night, which I will be activating when I get home from work, this will last me for my walk Saturday and the first couple of days whilst in Disneyland. I then want to put the 2nd sensor on ready for doing the 5 and 10k's whilst in Disneyland, which will be towards the end of my holiday. Can I attach the 2nd sensor on my other arm (but not activate it until the following day) the day before my first one is due to expire?
So i'll technically be wearing 2 sensors for a day?
Does that make sense!

Yes, I think that is perfectly fine Stitch 🙂 This is what I would do - only one sensor is activated and as one expires you can just activate the other 🙂

Yes, that's fine Stitch.

You can't accidentally start up a new sensor either as , if you swipe the inactive one the reader asks if you want to start a new sensor. I've done it a few times myself lol.

Here's another query that I actually asked Abbott for an answer, can I put the sensor over a tattoo? When I put sensor on my left arm it sits next to my tattoo and the needle goes into my arm where there is no ink.

But my right arm is more heavier tattooed so putting it on with no tattooed part could be more of an issue.

Here is the reply from Abbott.
Dear Ms Sarjant,

Thank you for contacting Abbott Diabetes Care.

Please be kindly informed that the Sensors have not been clinically tested when it comes to the application over tattoos.

We cannot confirm that the Sensors cannot be placed over tattoos, however since it was not tested, we also do not recommend doing so.

If you require any further assistance, please feel free to contact our dedicated Customer Careline Team on 0800 1701177* or again by email onADCHelpUK@abbott.com.

Yours sincerely,

Oswaeld

What would you do? Try it or not?

Hmm... I can see that they are covering themselves but find it hard to believe that it will make any difference - the filament goes much deeper into the skin than the tattoo 🙂 Are you on the FB group? There's bound to be someone there who has tried it 🙂 I can ask if you're not on the group 🙂

No I'm not on the group on Facebook (didn't realise there was one!). Gonna check it out. I wasn't trying to work out how it would affect it after reading it in the leaflet in the box!
