STAFF at a superstore were a cut above after getting involved in a charity event to raise money for diabetes.

The event, which took place at the Tesco Extra, Hewitt's Circus, saw brave members of staff having their heads shaved and legs waxed to raise vital funds.

It is all part of Tesco's nationwide project to raise money for Diabetes UK, its official charity partner.

The Cleethorpes store has raised £14,600 for the cause so far this year alone.

Service manager Sharon Holt is responsible for organising the charity events.
